How to Request Funding from the EVPSA Office
1. Fill Out the Funding Request Form
• Complete the fund request form (https://forms.gle/Thi3WJStJjqhmePq9).
• Email the completed form to the Head of Staff Ivan Hernandez at ehosevpsa@as.ucsb.edu and EVPSA Monica Mekhlouf at evpsa@as.ucsb.edu to notify them of your request.
2. Attend the EVPSA Core Staff Meeting
• Present your budget proposal during the EVPSA Core Staff meeting. Be prepared to explain your request and answer any questions.
3. Submit a Flux Request
• Once your funding amount has been approved by the EVPSA Core Staff, submit a Flux request to the Finance & Business (F&B) Committee.
4. Contact Finance & Business (F&B)
• Reach out to F&B to get your proposal added to their meeting agenda.
• Attend the F&B meeting to present your proposal and answer any additional questions.
5. Access Your Approved Funds
• After F&B has approved your funding request, the funds will be made accessible to you.
Important Notes:
• The entire process can take 2–4 weeks, so plan your funding request accordingly.
• Ensure all required documentation is submitted to avoid delays in processing.
